Hanalei Bay Villas #17 is a beautifully remodeled stand-alone condominium. This luxurious bungalow already had panoramic views of Hanalei Bay and the Hanalei Mountains and the interior reflects the beauty of its surroundings. Beautiful travertine tile floors, smooth granite counters, and custom DeWils cabinetry, and sumptuous hotel quality linens all combine to make this one of the most stunning units in the complex. There is walking access to swimming, surfing and snorkeling at the eastern end of Hanalei Bay by way of the newly renovated 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, located just down the road. The world famous Princeville at Hanalei Makai Golf Course is just a few blocks away, with a couple of the most challenging holes located right in front of this unit. There is an Electric BBQ on the lanai for your enjoyment! You enter this two story unit on the second floor, which features the living, dining, kitchen and covered lanai as well as a half bath. The lower level has three bedrooms (1-king, 1-queen, and 1-double bed), plus two full baths.

  The view was ever so beautiful from both patios. I could have spent the whole day admiring the view and feeding the cardinals! Location was fabulous. Hotel 1, the snorkeling beach, and Hanalei Resort were within walking distance. Only we missed an AC in at least one room. The staff was very friendly. All in all, we had a dream vacation in paradise. Mahalo!!!!!

  We really enjoy staying at the Hanalei Bay Villas when we are in Kauai because of the beautiful views and the privacy of having our own house. This villa #17 was very nice - clean, well-maintained, roomy, and comfortable. This is a small thing, but I really appreciated the big stack of towels in the closet! It is an easy location because you are very close to Hanalei Bay and also to the shopping in Princeville. We were visiting a active grandson and there is a great playground and plenty of open space in Princeville. The hosts were very helpful as well.

  We loved our stay at Hanalei Bay Villa #17. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, stunning views and we could walk to the beach. Communication with the host was easy, you guys were very responsive, even to idiotic questions like...where's the broom?..
  
  The place was clean and we very much appreciated the beach and snorkeling gear. Made everything simple. One addition that would be helpful is a full length mirror, lots of places it could be put, such as the back of the door in the closet in the en-suite bedroom. Also, kitchen could use a salad spinner, it's the Garden Isle after all. Loved the place! Can't wait to return!

  Ideal for family of five. We kept our shoes outside so that no sand came into house. We also used Dishwasher and the Washer/Dryer.

The property was in a wonderful location, close to many great beaches, and very close to the Hanalei area of Kauai. The villa was clean, in perfect condition, and had everything we needed included beach gear, snorkels, coolers, and beach towels.   Clean and spacious property, a short distance from a beach. The nearby Hideaways beach is excellent, but make sure you're in a decent shape if you want to go down there often. The path is very steep. Hotel beach is also nearby and is more approachable, but is shallow, would not recommend. We went to the Hideaways beach almost every day though.
  
  A great view of sunset is just a short walk away. Mountains are right outside the window. Balcony gets windy, but this also allows the wind to cool the house down. We never felt like we're overheating.
  
  Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot.

  The villa was clean and well stocked when we arrived. The views of the mountains are gorgeous and can be seen from numerous locations within the villa. I loved having the windows open and noise was never an issue. We stayed on the north part of the island for the first part of our trip and iy Hanalei Bay Villas was a great, centralized location. Sunset views and beaches are only a few minutes walk. I would highly recommend and would stay again if returned to Kauai.

  We had a really nice time having family time with husband and two kids. The North Shore is just so beautiful. We had some nice weather but even when it was raining, we didn’t mind so much. The house was just perfect size for us and we made use of the kitchen making breakfasts and Christmas dinner.
  
  The only complaint I have is that the exact description of the property is misleading. I was expecting a view of the Hanalei River , instead it was just a view of the golf course pond. There’s a small glimpse of the ocean as well and there really isn’t a close access to a swimming beach. On the description, it mentions about a swimming beach at St Regis 1/4 mile away. First, St Regis is under construction , it’s more than a quarter mile away to the actual beach and get ready to climb some steep stairs.

  Five friends stayed in this house and it was perfect. The common area was large and comfortable enough for everyone. The view of the ocean and mountains from the balcony is breathtaking. The rooms were comfortable to fit everyone. There were plenty of towels and extra sheets too. The beach items were plenty but some of them were either rusted or broken.
  Management was fast in responding when there was questions.
  
  The only thing that was a little unfortunate is the cutting board and knives are either broken or dull. It made cooking a little bit tougher but didn't prohibit it from occuring.

  We’ve stayed at several units at HBV and #17 is our favorite. Its gorgeous mountain vista, with a peek at the Hanalei Bay are stunning. As someone else mentioned, this unit is well stocked with condiments so you might want to check the pantry and fridge before shopping.
  
  Living room cushion covers were replaced with a pleasant beachy fabric. The weather was quite hot and muggy during our stay so we were grateful for the many fans around the house. Beach towels and a hairdryer are provided so no need to pack those extra items.
  
  We felt right at home and would stay here again in a nanosecond. Mahalo to the owners and to Na Pali Properties for making the booking process so easy.
