Hale Ola Kai is a three bedroom, three bath home located near world famous Hanalei Bay. The house is an elegant and modern remodeled home. The stunning interior is equipped with anything you need to make your stay in Hanalei perfect. No expense has been spared to make this the vacation destination of your dreams. The living area focuses south, with floor to ceiling windows featuring the most beautiful views of our beloved Hanalei Mountains and waterfalls - not a common sight in many of the homes in Hanalei. But the sun does go down in Hanalei and there's a massive flat screen TV for game day. The kitchen is open to the living and dining space, so the family can interact freely. The kitchen is well equipped for the gourmet cook. And there’s a dishwasher for the workers. Two of the bedrooms have king beds, the third bedroom has two twins. The two master bedrooms and the main upstairs living area have AC. The lanai is over-sized, with dining and seating options, a perfect spot to enjoy the view, using the high-speed wireless Internet service to stay in touch with the outside world. There's a huge outdoor shower, with hot and cold water. Gas BBQ. The amenities also include top of the line kitchen appliances - gas cook top, stacked wall oven and microwave, side by side refrigerator with filtered water in the door, large capacity Washer and Dryer. The first floor offers an expansive media room / den, with a kitchenette. Hale Ola Kai is located barely a block from Hanalei Bay, frequently voted one of the best beaches in the country. It’s a gentle lagoon dotted with sailboats all summer, and boasts world-class surf in the winter. The picturesque little town of Hanalei is about a half mile from the house – within easy walking distance. Hanalei town has delicious restaurants, lovely shops, and a local grocery store for your convenience. Bi-weekly local farmer’s markets are within less than a mile for fresh produce and local products. Despite its fame, Hanalei has been able to maintain its charming small town atmosphere, and the beach in Hanalei is rarely overrun with beachgoers. Paradise Found!

  Our family of four absolutely loved our week long stay here. The location is perfect...super close to the beach, a short stroll into town, but still on a quiet street. Views of the mountains are amazing from both the lanai and the living room. Beautiful, comfortable house with lots of beach toys. Great communication with Na Pali Properties throughout.   This is the third time we have rented Hale Ola Kai, first since it was renovated a couple years ago and maybe the 10th stay in Hanalei. First, the good-the location is fantastic, best in all of Hanalei; a block from beach, minimal road traffic noise, stunning mountain views from the lanai, and many more beach toys available for guest use than the last time we stayed. Although the property was generally clean on arrival all the carpets were in really bad shape; linens in the secondary bedrooms were aged and never stayed on the bed, a couple sinks were clogged and the BBQ was not working. The property next door is under renovation. Nail guns and chop saws started working between 7 and 8 each morning and went all day. The property manager was very professional and immediately responsive to address all issues. They are great to work with. (thank you Hali!) We understand not much could be done about construction next door, but it would have been good to have disclosed this fact prior to arrival. All in all a great experience in spite of some annoyances.

  We had an amazing experience at this home - the kitchen was well stocked, the beds comfortable and the living spaces so relaxing with seating for our entire family. We loved eating all our meals in the patio to enjoy the incredible views. The surf boards, paddle board and beach equipment were all a bonus to our trip. Everything was so perfect for a relaxing vacation. I left a ring there and the rental company graciously found it and mailed it back to me! We would gladly return and recommend this home and company.   This was our second time staying here. We actually arranged our vacation around when this house was available because we knew this was where we wanted to stay while in Hanalei. And hopefully, we'll be fortunate to stay here again. You can't beat the location or the views of the mountains. It holds a large family very well. I think the only drawback is that the room with the two single beds in not air conditioned. In January, this was fine. The time before we stayed in October and it was hot. But the basement stays very cool, as an alternative place to sleep. We all cherished our time here. Thank you!

  This house met our needs quite well. It has very easy access to to both the beach and to Hanalei town. The appliances and furniture are top notch, and it is well equipped with various beach items, snorkeling and boards. The house has lots of space for 6 people - two air conditioned bedrooms with king beds, one un-air conditioned bedroom with twin beds, and a very large un-air conditioned living/dining/kitchen room. The downstairs also has a huge un-airconditioned living room that we barely used. Both living room spaces have large flat screen tv's. The drive-through under the house has washer/dryer and all the beach gear. We spent a lot of time on the front deck, and had most of our meals there to enjoy the summer breezes in the morning and evening. Our only complaint was that the un-air conditioned space got quite warm in spite of the large ceiling fans and the open window louvers.

I didn't realize when booking this property that it is STEPS from the beach, as well as just a quick walk to the town.   The house had every amenity we could want, except for a garbage disposal. It was quite comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains from the lanai. The house is on a dead-end street so it is quiet, but it is so close to down town and right across the street from the beach park, a perfect location. In addition, the property manager was very available and responsive. We could not find an iron, and Halley (sp?) brought one over. The bridge closed on the morning we were to leave due to flooding from heavy rains, and Halley contacted us to assure us that we could stay if we could not get out. Fortunately, we could get out before our flight. Thank you, Halley.

  We very much enjoyed our three week stay at Hale Ola Kai. Over the course of our stay our two sons and their families were able to come to be with us. Our older son and his family joined us for the first part of our stay and our other son and his family came for the last seven days. We loved the chance to be with them in such a lovely home that is in such a perfect location so close to the beach and town. The location is very quiet and free of traffic. The home is very comfortable. The amenities were perfect for our needs.
  
  The home was clean and well-maintained and the Na Pali Properties staff was very helpful. We would definitely recommend the property to friends and relatives.
  
  We especially enjoyed being able to walk so easily to the beach every day and evening as well as being able to walk to town to shop or eat at so many excellent restaurants.

The description we were given of the house was accurate, except it seemed even more beautiful and fitting for our purposes once we were there. The location one block from the beach is incredible.   We loved our 2 week stay at this home. The house is clean, well-stocked, and nicely decorated. We spent many hours relaxing on the large lanai while our small children hunted for lizards and birds in the yard. The indoor space has lovely views and plenty of space to spread out, including a downstairs bonus space that is cool in the afternoons for playing games or watching TV. The beach is just a block away and the town of Hanalei is barely a 10 minute walk - a perfect location.

  Our family has stayed in many places in Hanalei one the past 10 years, but Hale Ola Kai is the best place we've enjoyed. Why? Location and lanai. The house is only a block from the beach and when you are not at the beach you can enjoy the comfortable furniture on the lanai and enjoy the view. All in all a great time.
